Elle r\u00e9side\naujourd&rsquo;hui en Angleterre, o\u00f9 elle enseigne l&rsquo;histoire de l&rsquo;art et dirige des\nconf\u00e9rences au British Museum. Elle a publi\u00e9 de nombreux livres sur l&rsquo;art\nantique grec et romain <a href=\"#_ftn1\">[1]<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans\n<strong><em>Comprendre\nl\u2019art antique <\/em><\/strong>publi\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment \u00e0 Paris aux \u00c9ditions Flammarion, elle rappelle\nque \u00ab&nbsp;depuis plus de deux mille ans, l&rsquo;art grec et romain est au c\u0153ur de\nla civilisation occidentale.&nbsp;\u00bb <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cet\nouvrage richement illustr\u00e9 et fortement document\u00e9 \u00ab&nbsp;propose les cl\u00e9s de\ncompr\u00e9hension de l&rsquo;engouement des artistes antiques qui l&rsquo;ont cr\u00e9\u00e9.
