{"id":22669,"date":"2023-02-04T14:05:16","date_gmt":"2023-02-04T12:05:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.satiricon.be\/?p=22669"},"modified":"2023-02-04T14:05:16","modified_gmt":"2023-02-04T12:05:16","slug":"controverse-des-images","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.satiricon.be\/?p=22669","title":{"rendered":"Controverse des images&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.satiricon.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Mensonges-en-perspective-cover.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"228\" height=\"350\" src=\"https:\/\/www.satiricon.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Mensonges-en-perspective-cover.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22672\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.satiricon.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Mensonges-en-perspective-cover.jpg 228w, https:\/\/www.satiricon.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Mensonges-en-perspective-cover-195x300.jpg 195w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 228px) 100vw, 228px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Konrad Witz (ca 1400 &#8211; 1445\/46) \u00e9tait un peintre originaire de Souabe, n\u00e9 sans doute \u00e0 Rottweil, mort \u00e0 B\u00e2le pendant l&rsquo;hiver 1445 ou au printemps 1446.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 1444, il a peint <em>La P\u00eache miraculeuse<\/em>, une d\u00e9trempe sur bois destin\u00e9e \u00e0 la cath\u00e9drale Saint-Pierre de Gen\u00e8ve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour la premi\u00e8re fois dans l\u2019histoire de la peinture, il a install\u00e9 le th\u00e8me religieux qui lui \u00e9tait command\u00e9 dans un paysage r\u00e9el, celui du Petit-Lac \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve avec son arri\u00e8re-plan de montagnes parfaitement reconnaissables, r\u00e9ussissant ce prodige sans avoir recours aux conventions optiques de la perspective italienne qui s\u2019imposaient alors partout en Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans <strong><em>Mensonges en perspective \u2013 Les images apr\u00e8s <\/em>La P\u00eache miraculeuse<em> de Konrad Witz<\/em><\/strong>, un essai fortement document\u00e9 paru chez Slatkine \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve, le peintre, dessinateur et critique d\u2019art suisse \u2013 dans les colonnes du <em>Temps<\/em>, entre autres \u2013 Laurent Wolf (\u00b01944) soup\u00e7onne que Witz a volontairement refus\u00e9 ces conventions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour appuyer sa th\u00e8se, il d\u00e9compose l\u2019architecture des peintures de l\u2019artiste allemand install\u00e9 \u00e0 B\u00e2le et les r\u00e9interpr\u00e8te avec son propre savoir-faire de dessinateur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce faisant, il d\u00e9couvre une parent\u00e9 sid\u00e9rante entre Witz, C\u00e9zanne et les artistes du XX<sup>e&nbsp;<\/sup>si\u00e8cle qui, ayant d\u00e9laiss\u00e9 la perspective, se sont occup\u00e9s de la mani\u00e8re dont les corps et les objets se r\u00e9partissent dans l\u2019espace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et cette d\u00e9couverte remet en jeu cinq si\u00e8cles d\u2019histoire des images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Car, \u00e0 la fin du Moyen \u00c2ge, sous l\u2019autorit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00c9glise et pour son rayonnement, les artistes ont con\u00e7u les outils donnant aux images l\u2019apparence d\u2019un monde r\u00e9el.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arm\u00e9s de machines \u00e0 regarder, ils ont alors fabriqu\u00e9 le point de vue \u00e0 partir duquel il convenait de voir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.satiricon.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Mensonges-en-perspective-Tavoletta-de-Brunelleschi.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"417\" height=\"350\" src=\"https:\/\/www.satiricon.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Mensonges-en-perspective-Tavoletta-de-Brunelleschi.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22671\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.satiricon.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Mensonges-en-perspective-Tavoletta-de-Brunelleschi.jpg 417w, https:\/\/www.satiricon.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Mensonges-en-perspective-Tavoletta-de-Brunelleschi-300x252.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 417px) 100vw, 417px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-small-font-size\">La <em>Tavoletta<\/em> de Brunelleschi (ill.
